Mark Vernon is a writer, broadcaster, and journalist. He began his professional life as a priest in the Church of England. He has a doctorate from Warwick University in philosophy, and degrees in theology from Oxford University and Durham University.
Vernon has written for numerous publications, including: the Guardian, The Times Literary Supplement, and The New Statesman. He can also be heard on BBC Radio 4’s In our Time.
Vernon is the author of The Philosophy of Friendship and Business: The Key Concepts. His new book Science, Religion, and the Meaning of Life was released in North America earlier this year by Palgrave Macmillan. I reached him in London, England.
