BUSH MUST RECONSIDER WAR IN IRAQ

Now that U.S. President has gained authorization from Congress to use military force in Iraq, it appears war is imminent. Although it’s unclear what the UN Security Council will do when they debate a resolution on Iraq this week, it may not matter. The Bush administration appears to have decided what they’ll be doing.
But it’s time to seriously consider the consequences of a war with Iraq. Those consequences include: the likely deaths of thousands of innocent people, more violence in the Middle East, and the destabilization of Arab regimes in the region.
