There have been several reports and articles in the Catholic media recently about sexual abuse by Catholic clergy. The latest series centered around the report The Sexual Abuse of African Religious sent to Rome in 1998, but only brought to public light recently by the National Catholic Reporter. Now the publication of the Nolan Report in England has once more highlighted the festering wound of dysfunctional sexual behavior by priests, which continues to plague the Church worldwide.
