PRIESTS WITHOUT BORDERS
by Joanna Manning
It is no secret that attendance at Christian services is decreasing in North America. Although the percentage decline is highest among young people, it is falling steadily in all age groups. Recently I have attended Sunday services at two churches where the trend is in the opposite direction, and the numbers are increasing across the board. One was at The Common Cathedral in Boston, Massachusetts. The other was at Spiritus Christi parish in Rochester, New York, which will be the subject of a future article.
