FESS UP CANADA! WE’RE NOT REALLY WITH THE POOR

by Kerry Kelly
ADMIT IT CANADA: PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT POOR DO NOT LIKE POOR PEOPLE. There is little compassion for the low-income earners of our society. We fear them. We do not care about Canada’s rising number of poor people; we care about tax cuts that ensure the rest of our next generation is properly clad in NIKE swooshes and GAP underwear. Can’t we just fess up and be done with it?
