Jon Sobrino is a marvelously creative theologian, Scripturally-based and deeply spiritual. At the age of 63 he is a cogent, powerful voice in Latin American theology and, specifically, Liberation theology. He is a systematic theologian and does not suggest specific programs, or social structures for realizing a praxis of liberation.
