"In 1993, in British Columbia on the Western Coast of Canada, 856 men, women, and children were arrested on a remote logging road in Clayoquot Sound for protesting the clear-cut logging of the local old growth forest. Two-thirds were women, as are 80 percent of the environmental activists worldwide.This is their story."
