CRASH SPEAKS TO THE HUMAN CONDITION

Since 9/11, the North American continent in particular and the Western world in general has been in a perpetual struggle with its own racism. Middle Eastern people are being discriminated against at airport terminals as a matter of policy. The powers-that-be are not even trying to hide their belief in ethnic profiling. And enough of us have too little time, energy, or concern to stir up much trouble about it. One movie currently playing in cinemas across North American tackles issues of race in the 21st century with startling courage.
