A STATE OF BECOMING: THE JOURNEY OF BOB DYLAN

Yells of "traitor!" and "what happened to Woody Guthrie?" emanate from the darkness as Bob Dylan and his musicians regroup for another song. Everything is washed in the milky glare of stage lights. Some band members look tense. Dylan –an ethereal, bird-like figure, with sleepy eyes– merely shrugs and smiles, hardly distracted by the many-headed monster booing at him from below.
